Welcome to Kindergarten!
My name is Erin Tregloan and this is my ninth year teaching kindergarten at Gobles Elementary. I have been married to my husband, Isaiah, for nine years. We had our first child, a son named Liam, in March of 2011, and had our second son, Landon, in May of 2013. We are enjoying every second of parenthood! I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, boating, reading, and of course, teaching! I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education and a state endorsement in Early Childhood Education. In December of 2010, I earned my Master's Degree in Integrating Technology in the Classroom through Walden University. I believe strongly in lifelong learning, and I hope to instill a love of learning in your child.
As your child's classroom teacher, it is my top priority to provide the finest education possible for your child. I believe that all children are capable of learning and should be given every opportunity for success. I work to create lessons and activities that emphasize both learning and fun and believe that play and exploration is vital to learning. You might be surprised by some of the things we do and learn about in kindergarten. Kindergarten is definitely different today than it used to be! In our all day program, we work daily on literacy and math skills, science and social studies, thematic units that integrate art and music, character education, and play. Again, it is my goal to ensure the success of your child and support them as they gain the skills they need to enter first grade and beyond.
I am excited to be a part of your child's life at such a critical point in their education. With your help at home, we can ensure that your child receives everything they need to be happy and successful in kindergarten. Please keep the communication lines open by calling me at 1-269-628-9415 or emailing me at [email protected] with any questions or concerns. Thank you for sharing your child with me!
